Day 4: Focus on your breathing, psh yeah right!

Day 4 began with me waking up and really feeling like an 18 wheeler carrying Mighty Joe Young ran over me! For real, the pain was so excruciating I had to take some ibuprofin, lets just pray my body adjusts fast. I started off with my routine cup of joe and decided to start with a run this morning. I speed walked/ran for 1 hour. I run for half a song and speed walk for the rest of the half plus a whole second song. My goal is to get back to running 1 whole song and even multiple songs by the end of the three months.
For breakfast I had a Labrada Lean Body Protein Shake for Women in Vanilla Millkshake Flavor. I have been drinking these for years now. I really like them and find that they get thick like a milkshake when I blend them with fat free milk and ice (which i did.) When I got back from class. I did my P90X Yoga. Ok, in the P90X handbook it recommends that if you focus on your breathing and not on the awkwardness and the straining you will perform this yoga better. No problem, got this! Negative ghost rider. We started and I was surprisingly really getting into it and then we went hit the 30 minute mark of only doing positions and I lost all interest. I have this little thing called ADD and it is really hard on someone who can barely sit through an entire movie much less an hour and a half of yoga but I knew I had to do this. Remembering the books recommendation I was trying to clear my mind. All I could think about was moving on to the next move but all we seemed to be doing were downward dog based moves, yuck! So, I copped out and forwarded it to the balance section. I don't feel too bad about this since this workout is 1 hour and 30 minutes long! This is crazy but I will not be forwarding through it every time. I did the balancing portion, the ab portion, and my favorite the breathing relaxing portion, it really was an amazing workout except that the beginning felt as long as the ice age!
I met with my friend, Anita, for lunch at cafe lola and had a little more than half of a TLC sandwich on delicious squaw bread. This bread is dark brown and like eating a cloud as my cousins say when they are eating little debbie red velvets. I believe its ok if I use this description since it is healthy for you verses their spare tire forming snack cakes. Anyway, the sandwich had avocado, tomato, sprouts, cucumber, turkey, and provolone. It is delicious and I got apples with it with lime juice squeezed on them, this is a great tip for keeping your apples from turning brown without effecting the taste. I felt full after this and was glad i stopped myself from eating the whole thing, I was a little disappointed I didn't stop when I felt satisfied but I had only eaten half of a half sandwich and half my apple slices. Oh well...
When I got home from class and errands, I was hungry so I had a kelloggs fiber bar. I love these because they take a great deal of added sugar, add almonds, and make it with dark chocolate! Delicious and 35% of daily fiber. I had to make my scratch chocolate chip cookies and was really scared I was going to cheat! But I didn't, Mr. Willpower and I are really starting to hit it off.
For dinner, I had 3 oz of boneless skinless chicken breast with BBQ sauce, and 1 cup of left over chili. I felt satisfied but I really had a sweet tooth so I made my frozen sugar free fat free frappe. Heres how you make it:
Sugar Free Vanilla Cappucino Mix about 3 tsps
7 ounces of skim milk
1 tbsp of splenda
8 ice cubes
Blend until smooth and enjoy
It really tastes like a frappucino except way less calories. It only has about 120 calories! woop woop! who is you auntie?!?!?!
Oh by the way I threw out the brussel sprouts, there was no way I was eating those again, wimp I know.
Again my bed and I have rekindled our romance and I am ready to go cuddle with my long lost love. Day 5 begins tomorrow and lets pray that that giant gorilla doesnt decide to leave that 18 wheeler that ran me over last night and do a tap dance on my body for me to feel the effects in the morning. Night!

PS gravity works on water too, so if you are holding a cup of water in your arms and the wind decides to blow some of your mail away dont bend down to pick it up expecting your water to stay in the cup. Gravity will suck that out like a kid drinking chocolate milk and spewing it all over your mail. That is all!
